Joyal CatLab’s pages like https://ncatlab.org/joyalscatlab/published/Weak+factorisation+systems uses the codecogs service to render xy, which no longer works. Since the nLab supports xy directly now, can editing be temporarily enabled to correct this problem?

  1. There was some discussion about this, or similar, with Todd and Joyal some time ago, and I’m not sure that it was completely agreed that it was OK to open it up. What I would suggest is the following.

    1. Extract the source of the page.
    2. Use the nLab Sandbox to fix the diagrams.
    3. Link to the relevant Sandbox revision here in the nForum.

When I have time, I will then make an edit behind the scenes using the fixed code.

Umm. sure the figures can be created in the sandbox, but they will only be displayed in the the current version. That is because the way things are currently set up, revisions use the old rendering system which doesn’t render pictures.

So it is not easy to visually check if the replacement is correct.

    I just made this: Sandbox/2069
