    The these d’etat was not equivalent to a PhD. The award is no longer used as far as I know.

    Incidentally, since the old days we used to avoid accents/unlaute etc. in page titles, while we happily used parenthesis (as in (infinity,1)) in page titles. This was a double misconception, as there is essentially no practical problem with accents in links, while those parenthesis are a real problem, certainly for our own Instiki parser.
