have tried my hand on illustrating the main theorem of persistent co-homotopy (Franek & Krčál 2017, Thm. A) in the simplest instructive example:

    currently here in the Sandbox.

(the rendering on my local machine comes out a little nicer, for some reason. Will fine-tune tomorrow.)

I have expanded (here) the Idea-section a fair bit, culminating in a table of variants of persistence that have been and still could be considered.

(In particular I will give persistent cohomotopy its own entry now).

Also added one more reference for persistent cohomotopy, namely

Is the impression correct that this as well as

    remains unpublished?
