    Hi Bee,

just a heads up that this is a duplication, we already have Wedderburn-Artin theorem!

(Maybe an issue with the hyphen in the title. I can’t investigate now, have to go offline. Will be back later.)

am clearing this entry, which duplicates the existing entry Wedderburn-Artin theorem. Please go there for any further edits.

(I suppose the software didn’t detect the duplication because the hyphens in the title here and there are actually different characters. This happens for instance when one copy-and-pastes a character string instead of typing it out.)

Re #4: There’s a common convention where ‘–’ (U+2013 EN DASH, the one in the title of this article) is used to separate names and ‘-’ (the hyphen, i.e. U+2D HYPHEN-MINUS, used in the title of the article this one got merged with) is used for double-barreled names, so e.g. ‘Birch–Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture’. I think Wikipedia has also adopted this convention, with redirects when the wrong dash is used; should we do something like that on the nLab?

Yes, absolutely, let’s add redirects and change the character in the title if necessary.

Just to double check: Should we change the hyphen-character in Wedderburn-Artin theorem? Please feel invited to rename the entry, if you have the time and energy.
