started something called table of orthogonal groups and related and included it into the relevant entries
Grammatically, this should be table of orthogonal and related groups. However, because redirects don’t work with inclusions, I have not changed the name (nor inserted a redirect).
All right, thanks. I guess I was meaning to give a kind of abbreviated version of “orthogonal groups and related structures”, but if it does not work out, let’s change it.
Actually, I don’t think the grammar of “table of orthogonal and related groups” is all that hot either. Why not “table of orthogonal groups and related groups/structures”?
Are they all groups? If not, then Urs #3 has it right.
orthogonal group and related structures as Urs pointed out in 3 is a nice name.
Are they all groups?
So far they are all groups.
I should add something about quantum orthogonal groups…
I think a quantum group counts as a related structure, not as a related group (despite the word ’group’). :-)
Right, isn’t this intention of the page as said in 3 ?
