Is there a possibility to create mindmaps (e.g. like this one done with TikZ in LaTex) in instiki?
Is there a possibility to create mindmaps
When I ask Google the same question, it says that there is Pimki.
More precisely I looked for a way to integrate a mindmap (in fact only some diagram displaying the logical dependencies in a book) in an nlab page by just typing in some source code in the edit-window.
Pimki rather looks like a new (experimental) implementation of the whole instiki software with additional features.

if you can convert your map to SVG, then you can include that, see How to include SVG images.
Thanks. Good to know that it is possible, in principle. A disadvantage with this method is that the SVG image obtained in this way could not contain links.

Oh, but it can. I don’t know how to do it, but other people here do:
you can see a nice example at diagram of LCTVS properties. A list of examples of SVG in the Lab is, by the way, at SVG images

Huh? SVG is designed to assign links on most anything - internal text, shapes, etc. Here is a tutorial example. Maybe what you mean is that either certain SVG editors don’t handle “a” elements well or that they won’t automatically convert
[[category]]
to
a href="http://ncatlab.org/nlab/show/category">category
.
(Ugh, I need to clean up and send in my CSS patches so that the above display will be shown inline)

Yes.

Use <code>
instead of <pre>
.
Or use proper markdown syntax. [[category]]
works.
