    I've modified over quasi-categories in my personal area, upgrading from Hom-Sets to Hom-Spaces (i.e. infinity-categories of morphisms). This seems to simplify a lot the definition, and to make the connection with limits clearer. I'll wait for your comments before moving (in case they are positive) the version from my area to the main lab.

    two technical questions:

    i) how do i remove a page from my area (that's what I'd do after moving its content on the main lab)
    ii) there's a link to over quasi-categories on the page Domenico Fiorenza, but it seems not to work, and I am missing the problem with it

    Deleting of pages here follows the garbage-collection principle as in Java or the like: once a page is "orphaned" in that it has no links pointing to it, the system recognizes it as a candidate for deletion. The admins can push some button such as to remove all orphaned pages. I don't think we have ever done this so far, but that's the idea.

    So for practical purposes the upshot is: you don't delete a page, you just leave it where it is but discard all links to it. Since that's something you'd do anyway for a page meant to be deleted, really the upshot is: do nothing special to delete a page.

    Regarding the link: I think that that was the Dreaded Cache Bug. Your homepage was "cached" before the new page was created and the system didn't notice the update. I did a trivial modification to your page (corrected a couple of typos) which forced the page to be regenerated and that fixed the link.

    Regarding deleting pages: Urs, Toby, or I can delete all orphaned pages on a given web so if you want a page deleting on your personal web then just make a request here on the n-Forum (make it a new discussion - I certainly don't check every discussion on the n-Forum to check if there's something technical for me to do, I happened across this one by accident).

    One thing that you could do is to replace your personal web's page with

    < [[nlab:over quasi-category]]

    (Be sure to write out < like that in full, even though that sort of thing is not normally necessary, or you'll hit the Dreaded Missing First Line Bug.)

    That makes it look like other obsolete orphans (example: Oidification > history, begun in the days before redirects worked) and ensures that any links to your page (such as from this Forum) will continue to work, pointing people to where they want to go. It also preserves the history of your page for posterity, even if only you worked on it. Personally, I think that this is better than deleting it entirely.

    On the other hand, it's your personal web, so we can delete it entirely if that's what you want.
