This used to be a super-brief paragraph at topological K-theory; and now it is a slightly longer but still stubby entry comparison map between algebraic and topological K-theory

It is written at comparison map between algebraic and topological K-theory that there is a natural homomorphism KKUK{\mathbb{C}}\to KU of spectra. What does natural mean here?

Right, I should maybe better have written “canonical”. On the other hand, in the perspective from cohesion disussed there it is indeed natural, in that it is a natural transformation between two functors.
