I keep getting this error message whenever I hit “See Changes” or “Diff” on the Sandbox:

    > Application error (Apache)

    > Something very bad just happened. I just know it. Do you smell smoke?

    Was gibt?

Bleugh. That seems to be due to me experimenting trying to figure out what Toby was on about in a different thread - it came down to some messing around with unicodes and now the filter that parses the diffs is complaining about the weird unicode characters that I put in in order to test Toby's problems.

Is it important to be able to 'see changes' or 'diff' on the Sandbox? The unicode problem will be fixed in the next update. I don't know if this will fix this specific problem as it depends on exactly how the initial problem and its fix interact with data that was submitted while the issue wasn't resolved. I'd rather wait for the update and then see if we still have a problem (in which case I'll fix it in the database).

If you just want to be sure that future 'see changes' and 'diff's aren't affected then just remove the double-headed arrows at the bottom of the page.

Not really a big deal --- just thought it might be a symptom of something ...

Update done. Please let me know which pages this still affects because I'll have to fix 'em in the database (and I'd rather do it all in one go).
