    I had added two entries to the floating TOC (oo,1)-topos -- contents

    and now it won't display correctly anymore at entries where it is included. See for instance on the right at (infinity,1)-topos

    I tried lots of things, but I can't fix it. Help!

    Problem seems to be in the hosting page rather than the contents page. The inclusion occurs within a div environment and maruku is not supposed to look inside these, so doesn't process the syntax of the contents. You need to explicitly tell maruku to look inside tags by putting markdown="1" as an attribute:

    <div class="rightHandSide toc" markdown="1">
!include (infinity,1)-topos - contents
</div>

    The fact that this appeared when you edited the contents is probably due to caching: editing the contents forced the old version of the host page to be deleted from the cache and a new one regenerated.

    If this is a new behaviour, then again the fact that you see it when editing is due to the cache. If it is new, then it's always been how it was supposed to work so if

    <div class="rightHandSide toc">
!include (infinity,1)-topos - contents
</div>

    used to work then it did so because of a bug in the implementation which has now been fixed.

    I'll run a search on the database to figure out what pages this affects, in the meantime if anyone spots a malformed included set of contents, take a look at the syntax around the inclusion and add the markdown="1" attribute to fix it.
