    An article writing in the nLab was recently created, to give some guidelines which may help relative newcomers fit in with some of the unspoken norms that have developed at the nLab.

    I made a few small changes. The most important was rewording a bullet point from

    • The nLab is not a place where you can just plop down notes

    to

    • The nLab is not a place where you just plop down notes indiscriminately.

    It was pointed out by Urs that if newcomers have good-quality notes that are relevant to nLab interests, then we don’t want to turn them away. Hopefully the text below that bullet point gives adequate explanation of what was meant.
