    It appears that Wald and Hollands have also put forth an axiomatic framework for quantum field theory in curved spacetime. I am not qualified to assess how it differs from the work of Brunetti, Fredenhagen, and Verch (though it does reference that work). But considering that Wald's axiomatic formulation was cited in part as the basis for his receipt of the 2017 Einstein Prize, I believe it would be a useful addition to this article:
