I want to add something to the page https://ncatlab.org/nlab/show/Chern-Weil+homomorphism
I want to give an out line of how Kobayashi and Nomizu (page 293, volume 2) describes Weil homomorphism.
Is that OK to do so?
Hi Praphulla, go ahead. You can note the change in a box on the edit page, so people here can take a look at your addition.
Why wasn’t the change noted in the box? Ordinarily it would show up here as a link to the page.
Praphulla, when you edit a page, there’s a second box at the bottom of the page where you record any change beyond correction of typos. That triggers a message to be sent here to the nForum. It will add to the thread whose heading is that of the title of the nLab page, but categorise it as ’Latest changes’, so might start up a new thread, if like this discussion the category is different.
