I must be very dim, but I can’t follow Merging to make that work. It doesn’t seem to want to change the name to ’equivariant > history’.
Is there a reason why equivariant homotopy theory and related topics are not mentioned in equivariance?
What would you do if the answer were “Yes”?
Good question? It might depend on the reason given. There are entries whose links to physics make me think that because of a change in viewpoint from maths to physics, there should be an entry pointing out the difference in usage, and in that case an entry doing that is more useful than just adding a link. It should also be said that I sometimes do not feel that I understand the reason fully so as to word such a page sensibly. On the other hand in this particular case, to me there is a big entry on equivariant homotopy theory and yet no link to it or from it to equivariance, and my question in #3 was out of curiosity. (I am also working on some equivariant homotopy theory stuff at the moment so …. ) Glad there is not a link. I will probably add some more!
